The Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce Foundation (the Foundation) is the 501(c)3 arm of the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber). It was formed in 1993 to support the educational and charitable programs of the Chamber. The Foundation has applied for and received numerous grants and donations for Leadership Cayuga, IGNITE, and the Finger Lakes Grant Information Center, as well as a few other special initiatives on occasion. The Foundation became the owner of the building at 2 State Street that houses the Chamber through a generous donation from the Stardust Foundation. The building is home to the Cayuga Economic Development Agency, SCORE, the United Way of Cayuga County, and a New York State of Health Navigator.
